Look At All This Knit!
HELP!
Alright so here's the problem, I'm a pretty proficient knitter. I've been knitting since October, so not too long but I've completed some projects like 2 sweaters, what feels like a thousand scarves and a few hats.
My main issue is that I love the look of lace but I'm really nervous about doing it. I need a shawl for a wedding I'm going to in May. Please help me find a simple yet elegant pattern!

Goth Knitting Photoset

(It seems I triggered something yesterday in my fellow knitters making them think I was under the belief the neither the young nor the goth knit. Goodness no. I just know firsthand they can do a lot better than a niche-market targeted, self-striping, lilac heavy yarn.)
